Brothers and Sisters,

I hope this finds you ready to enjoy your weekend. What a weekend it will be for MDUMC. We will celebrate our Jubilee weekend - 50 years of ministry in West Houston. God has blessed us in so many ways and you in turn have blessed others as you are doing right now. I hope your plans include worship on Sunday, September 19 to hear Dr Cragg deliver the message and then Sunday evening for the Jubilee celebration and dinner.

MDUMC Disaster Response:
This week one of our shower buildings was delivered and the other two are ready to go. Thanks to everyone that has participated in the trips and the building of the showers. So many people are and will be thankful for the work you have done.

Remember our next trips:
Saturday, October 25 - Collin Taylor will be leading this trip Saturday, November 15 - John Adams will be leading this trip

If you are interested in either trip speak to either Collin or John or let me know and I will pass along your name to them. There is so much work to be done. Word from the Conference is that in a few weeks the work load will change and we will begin repair and re-construction in some locations.
Give some prayerful thought to what you can do and when you can join one of our trips to help those in need.
